Tamimi company and Aquilex have held a training program in the United States last month and sent Hadi Al Amir and Ahmed Sulail, and they learned about the Ultra high pressure pump (UHP) and how to maintenance most of its parts, also had a first-man view and training on the pipeline and radius cutting.
Interesting facts about the (UHP ) includes that the pump ( picture shown below ) can generate extreme high pressures reaching to 40,000PSI, the intensifiers is a Hydraulic-oil operated, positive displacement, double acting piston pump, which is also the most important part in the whole machine.
GE has signed agreements worth approximately $700m to supply power generation equipment and long-term services for a new gas-fired, independent power plant that will help Saudi Arabia, the Middle East's largest economy, meet a growing need for residential and industrial power.
GE today announced it has been selected by Saudi Aramco, the state-owned national oil company, for agreements totaling nearly $500m to supply a broad range of equipment and services for an expansion of the Shaybah gas-oil processing facilities. The project is expected to enable Saudi Aramco to enhance its oil recovery efforts and spur further economic growth in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Aramco has extended until December 7 the deadline for companies to bid for offshore work at non-associated gas fields related to its Wasit programme, Reuters has reported, citing industry sources. Work at the first, Karan, which will have a capacity of 1.8 billion cubic feet per day (cfd), is expected to be completed in 2013. The development of Wasit is split into onshore and offshore construction packages. Wasit is Aramco's second project to develop gas fields that are not associated with oil production to meet rising domestic gas demand.
